How to Install Bathroom Beadboard

A natural choice for the walls of the bathroom is beadboard panels. White bathroom beadboard make a small space appear larger and refreshes the look of a room. Stained dark panels give a rich complements many colors.

Instructions to install bathroom beadboard: measure the high of beadboard which you want. Measure the wall to determine how many sheets of beadboard need. Measure from the floor in a corner at the height of its beadboard and mark the spot on the wall with a pencil.

Measure on the left side of the beadboard panel to the desired length and mark it with a pencil. Measure over the right to the same length and mark it with a pencil. Cut the beadboard panel and sand any rough edges with fine sandpaper.

Fit test panel on the wall to see if adjustments are needed cutting. Apply construction adhesive to the back of the beadboard panel in zig-zag movements. Place the panel against the wall in the desired location.

Hammer nails into the panel 4 inch intervals around the edges. Work through the wall, repeating the steps for each bathroom beadboard. Apply putty to the joints between panels for a clean finish if you are painting.
